Group Therapeutic Exercise (KGG)
Shared training under therapeutic guidance — with group dynamics and individual attention.
Group therapeutic exercise is a physiotherapy treatment in which several patients train together under professional guidance. In addition to classical therapeutic exercise measures, motivating and supportive group effects are deliberately used without neglecting individual care for each participant.

Indications
- Complaints and functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system
- Neurological or orthopaedic limitations
- Rehabilitation after injuries or illness
- Situations in which exchange and motivation within a group are therapeutically beneficial

- Promotion of self-activity and independence
- Consolidation of learned movement and exercise routines
- Use of positive group dynamic effects to support treatment success
Procedure
Treatment takes place in indication-specific small groups of one to three patients. In addition, health-promoting behaviors, everyday movement strategies and independent practice are taught. Treatment duration is usually 20 to 30 minutes.
